Thane police said on Friday that they witnessed another dreadful incident; a young married woman was allegedly put to death by and later dumped on to the railway tracks in Navi Mumbai. Sub-Inspector Hemant Patil of Nalla Sopara police station said that the victim, Shreya (aged 23 years) was married to one Sandeep Jagtap of Achole on May 15, 2011.

In October last year, they hit with her a sharp and blunt object and left her to die.
They later disposed of her body on the railway tracks between Khandeshwar and Panvel railway stations, so as to make it look like a suicide.
It was based on the complaint filed by the victim's father Sripas Kasare last night and offences were charged against six members of the Jagtap family.
Their names were given as Sandeep Jagtap, Srekha T Jagtap, Tanaji Jagtap, Pradeep JAgtap, Lalita Jagtap and Geeta Mali.
Police said adding further investigations into the case are on that all have been charged under Sections 302, 498-A, 201 and 34 of the IPC.
