BJP to CBI: Nail Chibambaram in 2G scam

A BJP delegation on Friday met CBI director A.P. Singh to demand a probe into the alleged role of the minister P. Chidmabaram in the 2G spectrum allocation scam. Often the investigation agency is being accused by the BJP of being the political arm of the government.
The BJP delegation was led by a famous leader Prakash Javedkar. It presented the CBI the necessary record and other evidences which clearly implies that the finance minister P. Chidambaram was alleged in the scam and he had sanctioned the policy for sale of spectrum.
The main opposition BJP had to bend down to such level that its leaders now have to meet the government officials with their complaints. The AICC spokesperson stated that he was happy to see that now the BJP had started trusting the investigating agency, who had been criticizing them every time earlier. The delegation also demanded the delegation to quantify the entire loss through the telecom spectrum allocation scam which which CAG has put it around 1.76 lakhs crores.
A. Raja, the then telecom minister is now at jail for his alleged involvement in the spectrum case and for the corruption of thousands of crores of rupees in the award of 2G license and allocation of precious spectrum. The delegation said that but they did not understand the reason behind Chidambaram's role being not investigated, who was then then Finance Minister.
