No curtailing of Parliament session: Bansal

On Wednesday, the Government attacked the opposition for staling proceedings of the Parliament on the most frivolous ground and ruled out curtailing the duration of the monsoon session. The Parliamentary Affairs Minister, Pawan Kumar Bansal said that, the opposition is not letting the parliament run and on the most frivolous ground. The Parliament must run and transact the business according to him. After the Parliament adjourned for the day over the issue of farmer's killing in the police firing in Pune and baton charge on Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha activists in Delhi, it was stated by Bansal that the Government is ready to address the concern of the opposition.
Again, it was clearly asserted by him that, they only want and only appeal to the opposition, at present, to again please come to the House and don't stall the House, as well as never make it a regular practice. He said they had enough of the same, and also made it clear that if there is a reason then please do tell them and they would address those said reasons for sure. Asked whether the Government is planning to cut short the Parliament session, it was undoubtedly asserted by Bansal that there is no question of shortening of the session at the moment. He said, We are looking forward and we would only request them to come and let us take up the business further. Let us pass the business and whatever items you have for discussion. According to Bansal, the Government was actually at a loss to understand the opposition's behavior in the Parliament. It was again declared by Bansal by slamming the BJP for creating a ruckus in the Parliament over the issue of police baton charge against their workers that the ruling party can point out a large number of instances during the seven year rule of NDA when there were lathi charges at the different parts of the country.
He also said that he is at a loss of words to express that dismay of him.
