Government doctor accused of stealing kidney


Police reported on Saturday that a government doctor in Jaipur has been booked for allegedly removing a kidney of a two-year old child leading to his death.
In a complaint filed by the child's father, Ramu Kashyap at Motidoongari police station has accused Dr. Pradeep Goyal, a doctor with the plastic surgery department of SMS government hospital, of removing the kidney of his son during a surgery on his finger.
In the complaint filed on July 19 by Kashyap following a local court's directive, he alleged that the boy lost his life on June 13, four days after the surgery following various complications due to the removal of his kidney.
A case has been lodged against the doctor and others under relevant sections of IPC.
Goyal, on the other hand has denied the allegations leveled against him.
