Former DMK Minister's house raided in Tamil Nadu

Former Law Minister of Tamil Nadu D Duraimurugan became the sixth former minister from the DMK party to come under the vigilance scanner with the investigation agency raiding his residence and office on Thursday morning.
Along with him, the residence of his close relatives were also raided by the officers of the Vigilance department.
He is under the scanner for allegations of amassing wealth disproportionate to his known sources of income.
The Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption (DVAC) conducted the raids at 9 premises across the state.
Previously, the DVAC had raided the residences and office premises of former mnister K N Nehru, T M Anbarasan, K Ponmudi, N Suresh Rajan and MRK Panneerselvam.
