It was stated by Neelam Grover, mother of slain television executive, Neeraj Grover, that she fears a threat to her life from Maria Surairaj, the Kannada actress, who was released from jail on Saturday, after being discharged for her son's murder case.
Also she added that Maria should be allowed to move out of Mumbai in any situation and also said Maria is a liar and can harm them and even hatch a conspiracy against them.
The police security provided to Susairaj when she emerged out of the jail was also objected by Neeraj's parents.
Neeraj's father, Amarnath Grover, was surprised that a criminal is enjoying the police protection without the same being provided to the common man.
He clearly stated that he is not ready to approach Maria first, though is ready to hear her if she wishes to make any point.
For destroying evidence in the Neeraj Grover murder case, Maria was sentenced to 3years imprisonment by a Mumbai Court on Friday.
She was ordered to be released once she paid the compensation amount of Rs. 50,000 too the victim's family, since she had already served more than 3years as an under trial.
The ex-naval officer, Emile Jerome Mathew, her co-accused and fiance, was sentenced to 10years jail term after he was found guilty of culpable homicide not amounting to murder, by the court.
Neeraj Grover was killed in a flat in Malad West, 25 Km from Mumbai, in the year of 2008.
His body was hacked into pieces and disposed of near Manor in Thane.
