Anti-Corruption campaigner Anna Hazare today threatened to hold another fast if the government fails to get a strong Jan Lokpal Bill passed by the Parliament's winter session.
In a letter referring to the prime Minister, Manmohan Singh, the 74 year-old activist said that he did not find it appropriate that responsible people in the government and the Congress were making excuses and were doubtful about the passing of the Jan Lokpal Bill.
Hazare, who had called off his 12-day hunger strike in Ramlila Maidan in August after elicitng a promise that his concerns would be addressed, said his team will also travel throughout the nation to educate the people about the need for the proposed bill when he resumes his fast.
The Winter Session of the Parliament is to begin from November 22 till December 23. The government has also been repeatedly asserting that it plans to introduce the significant Lokpal Bill during the winter session while Team Anna has been all while insisting the government to pass the Bill in this session itself.
