As per the police reports, a man was arrested today who threw a shoe at Anna Hazare.
The incident took place when Arvind Kejriwal, Manis Sisodia and Kiran Bedi were addressing a public meeting at Lord Venkateshwara Hall.
The man who threw the shoes has been identified as Kishan Lal, aged 35 years who hails from Prem Nagar locality of Dehradun.
However, Mr. Goswami has denied the media reports stating that the shoe was tossed at Anna Hazare.
Goswami said that they tried to catch hold of the man when he was about to throw a shoe.
A section of the public who were present for the meeting, however claimed that the man managed to throw the shoe but fortunately it did not hit the target.
