Lokpal Bill ready to be tabled in Parliament

The Lokpal Bill is ready to be tabled in the monsson session of Parliament beginning August 1st, and will be presented to the Cabinet next week, the Government said.

The Minister of Affairs of State for Parliamentary Affairs, V Narayanasamy said that the Lokpal Bill is ready and it will tabled before the Parliament in the next week.

He also added that the bill will be placed in the parliament and will be referred to the standing committee. After getting the standing committee report, our government is committed to see the Lokpal bill passed with the support of all political parties.

The Human Resource Development minister Kapil Sibal said that the entire nation and the entire governmnt were ready to take action against the corruption.

Sibal said that after the passing of the Lokpal bill, they will face the corruption together and will do their best to tackle the problem of corruption.
